Selection Process

The Selection Process and Examination Pattern will consist of two parts. First, there will be an online written test. If successful, shortlisted candidates will be invited to an individual interview. The final merit list will then be prepared by aggregating the scores from each stage.

Examination Format

The written exam will consist of 100 questions. Each question is worth 1 mark, therefore the exam is out of 100 marks. The exam will be of a duration of two hours.

The exam will be broken down into three subjects:

1. English Language: 25 questions worth 25 marks
2. General Awareness (banking focused): 25 questions worth 25 marks
3. Professional Knowledge: 50 questions worth 50 marks
There will be a penalty for wrong answers, which will deduct a fourth of a mark for an incorrect answer.

Finally, the overall merit will be determined in an 80:20 ratio. The online test will count for 80% of the overall merit and the interview will account for 20%.

  • MMGS III pay scale: ₹85,920 to ₹1,05,280
