Infosys is inviting off-campus registrations for Software Engineer roles (or “SE”) for September 2025. These roles are typically designed for fresh graduates (or near-graduates) in engineering, technology or related fields. “Off-campus registration” means:
You are not already working at Infosys or through a campus placement.
You’re applying via a general registration/hiring drive.
Selection processes might include online tests, interviews (technical + HR), coding challenges, etc

What To Check / Eligibility Criteria
When you apply make sure that you meet the common criteria (based on past Infosys drives). Generally, this includes:
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering /Technology (i.e. B.E / B.Tech / MCA / etc.). Generally, only engineering / technology degrees, however other degrees may be acceptable, but expectations of technical aptitude exist.
Passing Marks: Minimum aggregate (i.e. 60% or above) or class (first class) . In some drives, a small relaxation is allowed; make sure to check the exact number if one is specified.
Backlogs: Generally, zero backlogs at time of application (or, backlogs assed by some deadline).
Graduation / Passing Year: At times, certain graduating batches are eligible (e.g. 2024, 2025). Check to see if your batch is listed.
Other Skills: Basic programming skills, and possibly limited knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Communication skills, etc.

Once you get the offer letter from the company and joined the company, we have a robust process through which every new Software Engineer goes through. The process helps the fresh graduate transform from campus life to corporate life smoothly, while earning the technical and professional capabilities that will help them future-proof their career in the IT field in the future.
Onboarding and Documentation
Once you join the company onboarding is the first stage. Infosys usually sends joining instructions ahead of time with a list of documents you need to upload on the portal or take with you on your first day. The documentation can be educational certificates, identity proof, bank account details, passport sizes etc. Onboarding gets all the paperwork done, as theirs an HR team to get you through policies, salary structure, insurance, compliance etc. This is the official commencement of you as an Infosys employee.
Induction Program
After you join, you will take part in an induction program that provides details about Infosys’ culture, vision, values, and ethics when working in this environment. Induction sessions can occur online or at one of our Infosys locations (Mysuru, Pune, Bangalore or Hyderabad). The induction program will introduce the company’s internal systems, reporting structure and how to access, retrieve, and interact with the systems set up for email, portals and collaborative tools. Inductions will also cover items such as security protocols and guidelines, professionalism, and employer expectations for new employees.
Training at Infosys Mysuru (Global Education Center)
What makes the training program at Mysuru such a unique feature of joining Infosys is that it is considered to be one of the largest corporate training facilities in the world. Depending on the requirements of the business and your relevant roles in the business, you will attend training at Mysuru as a residential experience or virtually. The training duration can be anywhere from three to six months depending on a number of factors and what training is required to complete. The following items are included in the training:
Programming fundamentals (Java, Python, C#, or any other programming language)
Web technologies and databases
Data structures, algorithms and problem-solving
System Development
Allocation to Projects
Once you complete the training, you will be allocated to a business unit or client project. This role will depend on a few factors, including your training performance, business requirements, and skills. Some engineers move on to development directly, while others go into testing or support. Some engineers move into emerging technologies, such as cloud computing, data analytics, or AI. Project allocation is an important step because this will be your first chance to apply what you have learned to an actual business problem.
Work Environment and Career Growth
After you join the project, you will work under a team lead, or a project manager. You will be participating in daily stand-up meetings, engaging with clients across the globe, and completing assigned work. Either way, you will become part of a collaborative team. Careful to note, Infosys allocates a mentor for new hires (freshers) who are on your project team, and they provide a good amount of mentorship. Moreover, Edo World, your performance is measured using a client feedback component. Infosys has a structured performance appraisal system which compares your skills, contributions, and multiple sets of feedback-including client feedback. This performance process allows people to advance into senior roles over time, or to take advantage of new technology and advance into senior technical roles, explore new career paths in emerging technologies, or even pursue the manager track.
