Essential Duties

In your role as Deputy Manager – Retail Operations, you will be expected to:

Sales and Collections Fulfil assigned sales and collections targets across pharmacy outlets within your assigned territory.Monitor sales performance and collections of cash from all outlets. Ensure that cash is received, recorded, reconciled, and remitted, all in a timely manner to prevent any loss of funds. Inventory and Store Operations

Control stock levels at retail outlets to prevent stock‐outs and loss through pilferage. Enforce adherence to SOPs around management of procurement, storage, and dispensing. Ensure the operation of the store is undertaken in an administratively sound and disciplined manner. Business Development and Expansion

Identify opportunities that enhance operational efficiencies and growth areas.Coordinate the establishment and smooth operation of new outlets or centres.Monitor market patterns, customer demand and competitor activity proactively.Compliance and Regulation

Keep abreast and assure systems of record are in place to meet statutory, legal or regulatory obligations associated with retail pharma. Implement effective and timely changes to processes, practices, and policies to meet regulatory compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement

Liaise with hospital authorities or government agencies, as well as with internal teams. Cultivate external partnerships to create a network of relationships that can assist the organisation.Expense and Cost Control Effectively track operating expenses to eliminate unnecessary or excess costs.Utilise cost-effective methodologies while sustaining desired results and profitability. Ensure the effective use of resources. Team Leadership and HR Development

Monitor team performance and guide staff through feedback.
Onboard, train, and ensure new staff raise the standard of service provided to customers.
Maintain a culture of morale, professionalism in conduct and discipline of staff across outlets.

Qualifications Required

The candidates shall possess the following qualifications for the role.

• Age: Maximum age 37 years (on September 1st 2025).
• Qualification: Minimum qualification involves one of the following: B.Pharm qualification
• MBA qualification

Experience: A candidate must have at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in retail pharmacy.

Compensation & Agreement
• Remuneration: ₹25,000 to ₹45,000 a month (for an fixed-term agreement).
• Agreement: Executive position-level fixed-term agreement.
