Educational Qualification & GATE Requirement
You must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline, as specified below. Final year students may apply, but the final result/degree must be available at the time of document verification. You do not require any work experience. Entry is direct via GATE scores.
Age Limit & Relaxations
The maximum age for applicants is 27 years as of 27th September 2025. AAI allows relaxations for certain categories:

SC/ST – 5 years

OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 years

PwBD candidates—up to 10 years, where the post is identified as suitable for the respective disability category.

Ex-servicemen—5years for those with a minimum of 5 years of service; also released under certain conditions.

AAI regular employees—if in regular service and probation completed—may get up to 10 years of relaxation.

Pay, Emoluments & Service Conditions
AAI offers a competitive pay package. For Junior Executive (Group B: E-1 level), the IDA pay scale is ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹140,000. In addition, you will receive:

Selection Procedure & Merit Criteria
AAI defines a clear selection process. You must qualify in a relevant GATE exam (2023 / 2024 / 2025). Only those who satisfy all eligibility norms and have a valid GATE score will be considered.
Steps of selection:

Shortlisting: AAI will shortlist candidates based on the application details.

Application Verification: Short-listed candidates must present original certificates and documents. Failing to do so results in rejection.

Merit List: AAI will prepare merit based on GATE score. All three years (2023, 2024, and 2025) receive equal weight.

Tie Resolution: If two candidates score equally, the higher age wins; if age also matches, marks in the qualifying degree decide.
